As soon as I see salvaged title, I immediately walk away. Many other people will a well. You will have a very difficult time selling it when the time comes. Before you buy, MAKE SURE that your insurance company will insure it, and FOR HOW MUCH. Many insurance companies will not insure a car with a salvage title. There is a reason. Think about it.

Also if the structure of the vehicle has been compromised... do YOU want to be in that car during an accident???? And don't rely on a mechanic to tell you if the structure is intact. Stress fractures are NOT something that you are going to ba able to see w/o special equipment... Trust me your mechanic does not have that equipmetn. Not unless he stole it from an airline mechanic. I'm talking something along the lines of a portable ultrasound or xray or something like that. Whatever they use to look for stress fractures on airlines. Yes, EVERY caR OUT there is susceptible to this, but a salvaged title is MUCH MUCH more likely. Are you sure the welds on the frame were properly done and allowed to cool properly? etc.

For resale value, stay away from a salvaged title. For your safety, stay away from salvaged title. etc.
