That definitely sucks man. Hopefully things work out with insurance and you don't end up on the short end of the stick in terms of monetary losses or getting the car back damaged.

Hopefully this is a good lesson to your mother to not leave her purse unattended in such vulnerable and visible locations as in the cabin of her car.

I don't know if Gap insurance applies in this case but it comes in handy to offset the balance owed on a car.

 

My mom left her purse in the car when it was parked at home, and we have tints so its not visibile. But besides that yea either way she shouldnt have left her purse that wasn't the main issue.. it was my spare g35 keys in the dashboard that they got a hold of that really ****ed me over. I really hope they dont get smart about the whole credit card thing. For 1 the people that jacked it if they get caught that gives me no option of a new car i will be stuck with my old car that has been stripped of. 2 i mean i rather they just take it for me to get a new one i broke that car in like crap anyway.. Only reason why i know that is cause i took it to the track 7 hours before it got jacked and i ran a 14.8 with my car and a 14.7 with my friends and that was w.o trying hard. (At LACR thats why times are so late) Anyhow ill let u guys know what happens next.

 

Hmm if they went shopping at walmart, they should be able to find the theif by viewing the camera.... at the exact time the transaction, took place.

 

Good point jclit, I'm also wondering if it could be tracked by Navigation? Is that possible if it was equipped with that option?

OMFGG! **** MAN IM THE HAPPIEST GUY ALIVE sorrta.. my freind spotted my g35 because athens blue is rare down here and he saw the numbers written on my car frmo the track he called me and i drove my moms x5 in tip like i was driving my baby as it were stick.. i ran every stop sign cut everyone off and came just it time to see my car parked in a rite aid parking lot. called the cops wrote a report going to get fingerprints done on it tommorow. but now my baby is back in my hands.. but it felt as if it losts its virginity.. **** man sumone else drove my car *feels wierd*. but at least i have it back.. funny thing is.. they were jamming to power 106 heh figures..not trying to be racist but their were these guys that drove by me and circlced my car 3 times and bounced. pretty wierd.. but i duno might just be a coinsidence. they did steal my cologne and emergency kit and little things like that no more then 250 in stealing things.

 

I'm glad to hear you got your car back, hopefully they didnt damage anything. They probably wouldnt have driven it as hard as you did at the track LOL...this is good news...kinda. I'd just detail the hell out of this car and get a sick *** alarm and buy a M16 LOL

wow, what are the odds of finding your car back? Congrats on getting it back. Hope they find these f**ckers, but I highly doubt there will be any kind of investigation. Maybe you should have camped out for awhile and waited for them to come back to the car.

 

im just kinda worried they know who i am.. they still have the spare keys and can jack my car anytime they want if they spott it. i got to change my locks and check the car thoroughly to see if they did any damage to it, as well as get a new emergency kit that they stole.
