congrats man. Having a lot of friends does help. I still remember how my mom made me drive around hopelessing to look for her stolen car.

By the way, how easy is it to steal a G/Z without having the real key?

would a simple hotwiring work?

Tell your mom to contact the credit reporting agencies and have a fraud alert placed on the accounts. This helps with ID theft.

If you get a new set of keys and reprgram them, the set that the theives have will not work in your car anymore. It will still unlock the door but at least they will not be able to steal it...

Glad you got the car back. I have a feeling the theifs were oppurtunistic thieves and you have nothing to worry about. However they did steal the car from your house so they know where you lvie, that sucks. Your mom will be fine with the CC's however she has to go throught the hassle of getting everything replaced.

I worked in CC fraud for bank of america and those losses are written off easily, and no the bank will not try to find the theif. You can get the police involved then the bank will assist in catching. Anyhow have fun with your molested woman

I couldn't believe how everybody predicted the car would be totalled and stripped, except for me. Always try to be positive, and at the same time hope for the best, but expect the least. Good luck in the future.

i KNOW exactly how it feels, it happened to me a year ago, my 2001 Integra Type R was stolen from my apartment driveway... It has a chip in it too.

I feel it's an insider work, how they know that your mom has your car keys in her car?

But after all insurance pay more than what I paid for the Car... so I was happy, but it took like a month.

best wish to you and i think everything will work out in the end.

congrats on the find...def get the keys changed, bada$$ alarm system, and get the driver side keyhole cover installed so they can't unlock your door.

wow! what are the odds that your friend would see your car, I just wish that I was as lucky as you are, I had my pride and joy taken from me back in March. (Integra gsr)
They took every thing they knew how to get out, but couldnt get to the body panels and the rear speakers, but messed them up because they couldnt get to it, now parts of my car are in a riced out civic.
But congrats on finding your car.

What are my options what do i do? i had a few mods on it will insurance give me my money back?.. If any of you guys see an 06 athens blue G35 stick (sports option basically) with the 06 spoiler 5% tints all around and my signal lights on the side are painted black please email me at xxsezkixx@gmail.com. and let me know. I live in the san fernando valley area. Im really bummed out right now but i guess **** happens right? To people that are curious how it happend it seems as if they went into my moms car, and jacked her purse and they saw my spare key that my mom keeps with her incase she needs to back it out of the driveway etc.. i guess they used that to take the car. It took me a few minutes to realize how they started the car w.o the chip in the key. but yea theres my story, did this happen to ne one on the forums before what did u do? and my car was under a lease do i have to get a new lease and a different lease agreement at different monthly payments or do i get the same one i had before? Give me advice if u have any, id appreciate it thanks.

BTW will my insurance go up?

Hey, your not the guy that came and checkout out my exhaust with all your buddies about a week ago are you?

I remember seeing a blue 06 6mt....just wanna make sure it wasnt you...
