yea bro that was me ur the guy with the red on black right? .. any ways so i guess i gotta spend alot of money getting locks changed alarm system etc. Im just worreid about them opening the car up rolling it down my hill and starting it (i think in slang its called . Im going to park in the garage now everyday. Only reason why i dont want to spend money and time fixing it up with an alarm system and new locks is because its a 1 year lease. i still have 10 months left, but im broke n i dont know if i can do all that to it. Im going to talk to my cousin that works at miller infiniti and see what he suggests. really hope this doesnt happen to anyone. Lucky for me they only drove it 8 miles and i dont think they ****ed with it much. Im just really eager to find out who pulled this off. can tell what im going to do to that bitch.

Congratualtions on recovering your baby!!! Obviously these theives weren't professionals or your car would have been long gone. Also I don't think professional car theives stop and shop at walmart. I would definately park in the garage and maybe even buy one of those club things for when your out shopping or at school, that might at least take the appeal away from the the theives if they stumble across your car and still have the key since you can't get the locks changed yet. I'm sure your mom feels bad, I know I would if it was my son or daughter. Be thankful you go your baby back and give her a real good bath.

Congratulations on your recovery! Seems as though they just took it for a joyride.

congrats!

Sounds like nothing serious at all happened.

The tampon container can be had on ebay pretty cheap , as for the alarm and keys, sounds like you are all over getting everything changed out. Very nice.

Have you considered an after market alarm, and/or lojack?

sorry to hear about what you went through, but at least you got your car back. i too have an AB 6MT and also live in SFV. Hopefully nothing else will happen to you and your ride.

So i talked to the dealership and they tell me this.. Yea we can change your locks.. but they can still get into your car. What a big help huh? they just change the chip in the key. If i leave anything in my car now its asking to get stolen.. great guess i got to wait until my lease is over. And for the emergency kit on ebay thing.. Ill probably ending up buying my own kit that they jacked but yes i will do so.

Yeah, my G is leased and my salesman told me they could care less about mods. In fact, they hope you leave them on when you turn it back in. A lot of enthusiasts buy G35's. My sales guy says putting mods on means you're giving back more than they gave you.
So far I have wheels and a drop. The wheels are easy to keep but I didn't keep the oem springs that came off. Wouldn't spend 200 dollars to put em back on anyway. On order and in route are more mods. I'm 60-40 decided I'm gonna keep the car though. I was gonna get the new styled 08 but I love this one too much. I hate buying first year models anyway...that's wgy I waited so long to get this one.
