Lighten me up. I drive an escalade.. and..
yeah, its a looooooong story. but here it goes.
I used to drive a 2003 Acura RSX-S. I LOVED that car. To the fullest. In every possible way, it was great. it was quick enough for me. nice luxuries, etc. My favorite part about it was the Black interior with red lightings, radio, etc. (i had it that blue color).
Hurricane Wilma (yes i live in miami) hit on october, and you guessed it, my rsx is destroyed. a roof fell on it. Well, i decided maybe i should move up now, get something a little better, so i grabbed myself a cadillac escalade ext. i love the escalade i have it on 22's, etc. But every day im missing the rsx. I think about any possible other car i can grab, and a few friends tell me to check out the g35. well i do and i love it. (only seen pictures, havent driven it). well im expecting it to drive smoothly, luxuriously, be quick, and give me the same comfort as my rsx.
what would you guys recommend as for the g35? is it really a comfortable ride? quick? do some come with navi? how many inches do i put on it, and for a nice look, how much will rims cost? anyoen help me out please. thanks. btw, this is my first post, i am new, and expect to have my new car within a month, so i can start thinking of what to do. (btw id like to keep it stock... except maybe mufflers to make it sound like a ferrari.. ive heard a Z sound like that a few times, i think its called borza or borla exhausts?)
thanks everyone.

You dont need to modify the whole exhuast.
Our exhausts are one of the hottest stock exhausts in the market.
Wheels? 20's (and 19's) will cost you alot. Better be ready to spend 2500+ minimum for good ones.
Dont worry about getting a G35, its 10007586 times better than an acura RSX-S (isnt even a competitor)
Also, get a 6MT. Its way funner and quicker than the auto G35.

You cant go wrong with either auto or 6MT, but if you wanna have fun, go with the 6MT
Goodluck eitherway though

The 2006's come with 19" rims STANDARD on the 6spd version and you can have them chromed from the dealer if you like [Not one for chrome myself though]. If you get the 5AT, then the largest that come on it is 18"
Also the 6pd comes STANDARD w/ the "Sport Supsension" package where as it's an option on the Auto. And the Navi can be had on any model G35 as a seperate/stand alone option.
Front/Rear Strut bars [not the easiest thing to get for our cars] are a big help for an instant improvement in handling [so I've read around here, I plan on getting them soon].
I think you'll be very pleased with everything about the car once you're actually behind the wheel and let the seats hug you tightly.

I think you would probably love the G35 since it has a lot of the good qualities of an Escalade(Flashy/Stylish, Big Wheels, Semi-Luxurious)... but it's obviously going to be a lot faster, handle better, and you're bound to be fond of the exhaust note.... even with the stock equipment. If you know how or are willing to learn how to drive a manual transmission, I highly recommend you go that route with the G35(much more fun driving experience, and more control, plus slightly quicker and better fuel economy and the brakes will last longer if you utilize compression braking).
You should obviously drive one or 2 of them though before you settle on the G35 as your car of choice, and also drive a few competitor cars just so you have a decent feel for what's out there on the market.
On the down-side, the G35.. although definitely very quick, is not a blazing fast car and you won't be winning any drag races against some of the newer American V8 muscle cars out there without spending a pretty good chunk of change on performance modifications. Also note that this car is not the friendliest car to cheaply tune for significant power gains(in comparison to an EVO, Supra, WRX, SRT4, or just about any American V8).
Good luck with your decision, and try to keep an open mind while test driving all of the cars that you look at.
