Re: Projectors

I got the projectors off ebay. The other materials I bought, lots of screws and some acrylic.

You can also check out www.illusion-lighting.com or that clearcorners.com place. I know that illusion lighting will charge about $700 to $800 for a similar setup (projector mod only).

Re: Projectors

LOL... hey theres always that option of take the do-it-yourself route! I picked up a set of Boxster S Xenons from a local junk yard for $500 for the pair with the ballast and wire harness. The lights are missing somesort of relay, but I got them to turn on. They seem to be a perfect size for the coupe headlights. When I remove the headlights to get custom covers made, I'll look into whats involved to convert them into projectors.

Re: Projectors

WOW!

Awesome job, you're definately the first to do this to his car. Lots of respect for being the first one to experiment and do this!

Re: Projectors

hey can you please let us know how you took the front plastic cover off. I wanna know how you made the front piece clear. Besides the fast, can you use any Xenon for an exmaple could i go ahead and use one from a 3 series? But to get back to the clear corners on the front. I know that you have to break the orange out. The problem i have is how the hell do you take the front plastic piece off?
