I was coming home from work and I noticed the fuel light come on. I had about 26 miles left according to the nav. So drive it to a gas station near my house without pushing it and I notice I have about 16 miles left. I tried to tap the filler lid and realized it wasn't opening. First thought was I must have forgetten and accidently locked the car. I unlocked it, and it still would not open. I thought sh!! So drove it home called my dealer he connected me to a technician and he told me to take the rear panel off and there is a white **** hooked up to the electronic gas filler lock. I pulled the *** and it popped open the filler lid. I wish there was an emergency tag or something located somewhere on the car that was easier to get to... The warranty will cover it, but I was still upset because It was very inconvient. MY car only has 21000 miles and its an 04. Didn't expect sh** to break that early But I guess I was wrong.
