I cant find a DYI for removing the center console for the 2003 5AT coupe. Im affraid of taking the shifter off because i dont know how to unscrew it. There is the button that you push in before you can put the car in reverse and im not sure if it will break if i turn it or whatever. If someone could post a DYI on this that would be awesome.

I searched and cant find one for the AUTO. Only found one for the manual.

 

just pull that bottom plastic piece out from the shifter. you can use your nails or something it pops down...then theres a U shaped ring aroudn the base take that out and you can pull the shifter off.

i believe there is a DIY at www.g-owners.com check it out should be under the double din conversion.
