took 3 days to get mine via USPS

try to PM Diesel1 (i think thats his name) because he is the one who runs customautomesh

he does this as a side job so while im sure its high on his priority list he has other things to take care of too

Hi, I apologize for the delay. I run CustomAutoMesh.com along with Diesel1. Like the previous posters said, we do run this on the side and we do have regular 9-5 jobs (more like 6-5 for me).

You're order status has been updated to completed and it is on it's way to you.

Again, we apologize for the delay and hope you understand why it occured.

We look forward to your business in the future.

Thanks,
John

i ordered one for the gialla for my sp grille. yes it will work. im sure it will work for the utr grille as well.

it is a rectangular piece of plastic mesh that you have to cut to fit the grille. you cant just "plug and play"

im pretty sure the gialla/sp/utr grilles all have mounting hardware already..so you didnt need to order the mounting hardware unless you are mounting it on a bumper or something...but to answer your question..the mounting hardware is just a few wires about an "1 or so long..

my mounting eq that came with the grill as doublesided sticky tape that had a paperclip looking hook, very **** poor utr is a horrible horrible fab company...i put their crappy mesh screen on with double sided tape...again let me state how horrible UTR is as a fab company...fits like a 3rd rate copy from a cheap overseas company making knock offs of knock offs

Cool Customautomesh installation

I ordered mine and now that I have it I'm looking through G35driver for installation process. I've read how to attach the mesh, that's not the problem. I know you have to cut the plastic stock mesh out, I know you either use epoxy or bondo (Depending on what you're bumper is made of.)

What I'd like to know is how easy it is to remove the front bumper to gain access to where I need to attach the mesh to.

I'll keep looking but maybe some can explain how to remove the bummer or past me a link so I don't pull my hairs out .

from LCA575's thread

now remove the __ amount of bolts that connects the bumper to the under body engine cover (there should be a bunch of them - 10mm)

Hi Guys,

Just as an FYI, Coupin handles the computer and website maintance aspect and I handle making the orders and packaging to ship. We try our best to get the orders out ASAP but like some peeps mentioned, sometimes it can be a few days before we are able to ship. Reason being is I work in Manhattan and don't have steady hours. I start at 9am but sometimes I'm out at 6 sometimes I'm out at 8. Tack on over an hour usually an hour and a half to get home, eat....by then I'm shot and don't want to even see a PC. That said, some orders get processed quickly and some lag a few days. If the week is really hectic at work, I end up trying to catch up on Saturdays. Unfortunately my regular mailman has been taking Saturdays off and the new guy refuses to take the boxes. By the time my mail comes, the Post Office is already closed so it waits until Monday to ship.

The last batch shipped out on Monday.

In the future, if it is an absolute urgent urgent need to get the mesh, shoot me a PM or email and I will do my best to put a turbo on it.

We are currently awaiting delivery of teh small mesh, but we have plenty of the large in stock!

As for hardware, it is nothing special. We cut some 14AWG solid core wire into about 2" lengths. You can certainly buy the wire yourself and use that, but we make it a little easier by already cutting it for you. Trust me, cutting 100's of those things is a major PITA!!!!

Thank you everyone for your understanding and your patronage! We have numerous returning customers!

Finally, if anyone needs mesh in bulk, shoot Coupin or me a PM or email and we can work out a bulk rate cost.

Thanks!
