creativity with the nismo
i just got my nismo front and i was looking at it and had a thought...i know people fill in the tow hitch square in the front, but i was wondering if anyone has filled in the side marker lights and just ran without....any opinions? i think it will clean it up a little (not that the side marker looks bad)

I hate the side markers on any car. I would do it if i were you. Someone on here actually painted their sidemarkers to match the body of the car(I was thinking of doing it too and he beat me to it). It looked realllllllllll good. He has an IP coupe with some NIIIICE wheels. I'm sure he'll chime in soon.

I painted my sidemarkers back when I first got the car in march '05 and it makes the front end of my IP coupe look soo much cleaner. I say go without them.

what would i do to the lights after i lose them.....would i just tuck the wires somewhere and hope they dont mess up something electrically or would i cap them....recommendations please

You could just take out the bulb and tape up the end of the socket and tuck it into the original place and have the body shop fill in the opening where the lights were.

I dont know if this is right but, isn't it one of the DOT's regulations to have side markers on the car? You might be pulled/fined for it? not 100% sure, but just a thought :P
I think it'll look cool tho, definitely unique.

It's got to be illegal. Clear ones are illegal so I know a complete lack of a signal has to be.
I really need to see a pic of this. I don't get everyones apparently serious dislike of sidemarkers

im sure if its filled and bondoed or whatever cops would just think the car comes like that, and it wouldnt be your fault for not having it

i dont think the side markers are bad, but with aHero's photochop i think it cleans it up and looks really good...plus no one has really done this and its different
