Should i or should i not...

Ok i was cleaning my car outside (06 coupe brand new) then these kids (9-12) year olds were playing bball and the ball hit my bumper pretty hard, there was no damage at all but to my amazement the alarm didnt go off...Im wondering if i should get this checked or get a better alarm, i was thinking about a remote engine starting one...any suggestions?

most stock alarm sucks to be honest.. even breaking the glass won't set the alarm off. get an aftermarket alarm.

The stock "alarm" doesn't have a shock sensor, it will only go off if one of the doors, hood, or trunk is opened, so the ball wouldn't do anything if its the stock alarm

Oh yea, there is a way to add a shock sensor to the stock alarm. contact boostedconcepts.com for the dei shock sensor and for their wiring diagram. Here is a post reference the install, depending on your year, the wires to tap may vary:
