Funny most bimmer owners acknowledge the fact that the G35 is faster than the 330i, but I guess these guys dont live up to the facts.

Take a look around the bimmerforums (the one you linked) and youll find out the truth... from actualy bimmer owners.

auto vs auto g35 has the edge. auto 330 and 6mt g35 - g35 is a clear winner
6mt 330 and g35 6mt, g35 is a winner.

ummm... my auto 06 beat my friends manual 330i....my auto 06 beat another friends auto 330 ... my auto 06 beat my friends 2004 auto 330Ci....i dont see any of the e90's or e46's beating the g's unless they are the new 335's

 

but the op on the bmw forum already stated that he is NOT stock..so why is it so hard to believe that he beat a stock G35?
everyone on both forums are arguing over if a a 330ci can beat a G35, but that wasnt the point of the thread. the owner had alotta mods..
so in that situation he prob did beat a G35.. so what?

if someone with FIed G35 beat a M3, would you guys still NOT believe it just cuz its a G35 beating an M3?

U guys weren't reading in depth enough...he says he raced a g36 red coupe. My g35 is pretty fast so I bet a g36 would be pushin around 50 more hp and he still beat it. That's crazy!! Anyone else heard of a g36? haha...

 

drivers have a bigger impact on the race than the cars themselves

 

i smoked one on the freeway...he couldnt keep up

 

here is what it looks like from 10-70mph. I just have exhaust. On the freeway it was very painfull to watch for the BMW, too bad we didn't get that on camera. He was driving a 2001 330 sedan 5MT. 2 people in each car.

I see a pair of xeonons coming up fast behind me but there was some traffic so he had to slow down it cleared a little and I let him pass to see what it was, it was a g36 coupe red and was willing to go the traffic was heavy in all lanes but one so I got behind him.He got on it several times and so did I and every time I had to let off the gas not to run over him

LOL G36s are slow and it's not surprising that the 330 beat him. A G35 coupe wouldn't have any problem however. I wonder if it ever occurred to our friend with the 330 that the car he was racing let off the gas before he did. They were both going insanely fast on a public road, and it just may have been that the G driver came to his senses and let off the gas pedal before he either got killed or some cops caught them and threw them both in jail for racing.
