if anyone chooses to do this in the future use duplicolor wheel primer, paint and clear. i used this combo over powder coating because high temp. powder coating weakens forge aluminum wheels. Here are pics of my wheels and i have steps to painting if anyone is interested. mine held up for over a year and are still just as nice as they were the day i painted them.

this was on my evo, but the results would be the same on the g35. i have more recent pics with better shots of the wheels and ill post those later

I want a sedan...I could wait an entire year but I dont think I have the patience plus I dont think the 2008 sedan will be THAT big of an upgrade from the 07 being the 2007 sedan is totally revamped

Good effort. I like the silver center.

One thing...since this is a lease, I assume you'll need to return it back to stock after....will you just refinish it to the original color?

good question reason why i painted it instead of powder coating it was for the fact that i had to return it. Im going to use paint thinner to take it all off, i tried the thinner on the stock rims before i painted it and it had no negative effects on the stock rim. So yea painthinner it before i return it.

Looks good anyway
