To prep wheels all i did was wash them throuroughly and uses an air pressure device my father had and i blasted all the water out quickly, and i put masking tape over the tires before we started painting them.

is it just me or on the fronts did u leave t centerer caps silver and on the back u blacked everything out???

Don't expect to be able to take the paint off with paint thinner in a year. Once it cures it won't be that easy to strip off. You may have to get the rims refinished in a year before you lease is up.

Should you be doing these things to a leased car? Or are you going to buy it? Otherwise you'll get gigged for "damage" when you give it back.

+1...although I wouldve stuck it out for a week and gotten them powdercoated with the lip left alone.

Definitely a no-no on a lease car. You're gonna get jacked when you turn it in.

I got hookups with miller its all good lol. no ones gonna jack me nothing. and paint wont ruin the rims it comes right off ive already tested it. Might have different long term effects but well see
