I know this kid with a civic that drinks and drives and really doesnt mind doing it. He does it on the way to parties. I, personally, would never do that no matter what the circumstances. I think i'm mature to some extent. Just dont know if thats enough to handle the G.

Yeah, I decided what i'm going do is get a rundown manual BMW with 150k miles
and keep that for a year before trading it in as a down payment towards my G. I benefit from this because i get much needed practice on a manual car. I'd rather ruin an old BMW than a G35. I know for a fact there will be kids in my schools that key cars that they're jealous of. Also, i would make some money in the year to help pay for the G.
I know this probably interrupted the flow of the thread but i just wanted to give a head up.

ı found thıs car too much for a 16 yr old, not just ın terms of keepıng up power and handling but also maıntenance wıse, for a 16 yr who depend majorıly on mom and dad's allowance. How can he/she pay high fıxture costs?
ıts not hard to buy a car, but before buyıng always thınk, ıs thıs somethıng ı can afford summer and wınter?
hope thıs helps to youngsters.

no matter what car you drive at 16, I think most likely it will only last you about 1-2 years because of not enough exp on the road. Teens do tend to get into more accidents because of their lack of exp. If I were you, I would drive a crappy civic for a couple years. Get to know the road and what type of people on the road and then get your G. just my 2 cents.
