Let's go find a lonesome curvy road or track and compete for times and track position.
You want to drag race? Buy an old Nova, gut it and drop a huge, blown V8 in it with matching running gear and have at it.

If I want to see how fast I can go in a straight line for a 1/4 mile, I have a 1700cc drag bike or a moderately built 440 Road Runner for that. Of course, neither handles worth damn. That's what the G is for.
I'm sure dragging the G or any sports car is fun for those who do it. I just don't think the car is purpose built for that. The tranny and rear end, including the CV joints at the axle pivots are not (IMO) built for the stresses caused by the sudden release of a clutch at high RPM. Specifically, a viscous LSD is not a drag racing staple but works well under sport track conditions. And CV joints are another story altogether. Early, high horsepower Vettes used stronger U-joints for their independent rear axles. Even those were subject to failure.
It's just my opinion. Certainly it won't change the world nor do I care if does. But it will preserve my G for those days at the track and in the canyon behind my house. To each, his own.

Our cars are more towards European racing style.

Try to put your stock rims back on and see if your times improve.

i was just about to say that lol. The fact that hes running on 20's isnt exactly helping as far as weight is concerned

Yup, good eye there figgaz!!! I noticed the 20'z, too. Yeah, the size of your rims has a big difference. Was your 20'z on? Change them to stock and see how you run!!! You should have a better time. Oh, how was your tire pressure? You should try letting some air out. Give it a shot!!!!

Just curious, but do you have a 13.3 second timeslip of your STi? Was that stock?
Look at the trap speeds for the STi. They aren't that different from the g35.
A little over a year ago I ran a guy in an 06 STi at a local 1/8th mile. Guy was a novice, and had never taken it down the track. I beat the guy by 5 tenths and 4mph, in the 1/8th.
Of course that guy's not representative of STi owners, but neither is a 13.3 1/4 ET.
