Maybe you just need more track experiece.

Also take in elevation/temp into factor.

Crazy cuz i have been going to this track since i was 18, now 22, and this was his first time ever at a track. I took my 03 Max, 04 accord, and driven various friend's cars there....I just dont get it. Another guy in an auto G was hitting same times as me and same mods as me too, except for plenum spacer. Guy in a z with just pop charger hit a 14.2@101.2... i just dont understand

Which track? Firebird or Speedworld?

Take VDC off.... what RPM are you launching at? How old is your car?

I think you got to work on your 60' time.

That will help

I think you might need more stickers...

Your first run of the night is usually not your best. You were probably so anxious to go ( from waiting for so long) you just screwed up with small things and didnt notice...early shift...late shift...slow reaction...who knows. I would say if you go back and get there right when the track opens and get 3 quick runs in you will get used to the track and then let the engine cool off for about 40 min then go again you will be down where you should be.

eh, if you wanted a fast car you couldve gotten a evo or a STi. you have a 350 Grand Touring car, not a racer.

day after day im happy driving my G, i know im not fast as a lot of other cars out there. ive driven my friends STi's, m3's... blah blah blah. doesnt matter, still love the G more. m3 was one of the cars i was looking at but i had some second thoughts about bmw's reliability.

just turbo your G if youre not happy with its performance

have you checked on elevation and other factors that may have been playing with your speeds?

Overall, the STi and the EVO's aren't much faster then the G35. They are overrated. Obviously, they are faster then a g35 in the quarter mile (assuming good driver) but on a highway run, the STi does not pull on a g35. The cars were built for different purposes. Our cars are more towards European racing style.

What was your 330' mark, and your 1/8 ET and trap? List his 1/8 ET and trap as well.

I have to say, a 95mph trap is pretty slow for your car and mods. The z is out-trapping you by 3mph; that's pretty significant.

You could definitely use some practice on your 60', like others have mentioned, but I think you need more practice on your shifting.

lol...evo's and sti's are only faster in the 1/4 because of the all wheel drive...that is all.

Ya, with the proper tire psi 2.0 60' would be great. Although
1.90's are the magic #
