Demon Eyes For Less Then 20$

Hey everone...im new...so please cut me a break if im wrong..i have a 04 G35 coupe...and i have put the 12" CCFL tube in the clearence strip and the 4" in the front side bumper...i am now trying 2 do the Demon eyes myself..as i can see everyone is getting them from AAC.com...theyare charging about 200 plus shipping...i think thats a ok price but i was thinking....i can get it for cheaper...http://www.svc.com/ccf120wt.html... there are the same...just take the CCFL tube out of the computer fan and there u have it! The only problem is that i dont know what size to get...it comes in (mm) on the computer sites.. so does neone knows or finds out please share for all of us...we dont need 2 be paying 200 for something we can get for less then 20$..im pretty sure that they are the same...please replay...

that's basically what the demon/angle eyes are, just ccfls.

i have an 06 and i bought the 120mm size to try and work on my lights. they're too big. hahaha. but i think the 03-05 have bigger openings than the 06's. 80mm is definitely too small. if the 120 mm is big, you might have to bend the light a little...and i'm sure you know that can be a PITA.

post some pics of you setup. I put ccfl's in my corners a while back. there's a thread somewhere if you search it ("my clear corners"). I haven't seen anyone else post it so i'm curious to see how yours turned out.

I was wondering if you could post some pics of the strips on your car... I have been thinking about doing the same thing for a while but Im not that good with wireing up things. do you just cut off all the extra stuff and just run a hot, and ground wire to it off of a switch? Thanks...

the fan lights youre talking about are the 120 mm ones im assuming? if so, dont waste your time. theyre too big, by about a half of an inch. aside from that, i dont think theyll hold up to the road. i discovered they break pretty easy.

none of the standard computer ones will fit. they generally only come in 120 and 80mm diameters.

correct. you could probably make the 80mm's fit, but i was never able to find them in white color. only red, green ect.

PeteNJ was able to do his clearance strip mod with the white CCFL's from svc.com (https://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75227). There is probably a site or two out there that sells CCFL's that can fit the Angel/Demon eye size requirements....try Googling it.

I tried extensively to look for those, and the problem is not really the size but you need the casing too, the CCFLs are glass tubes and break very easily.
