Doesn't sound like a factory upgrade. Has to be an aftermarket alarm option.

The G doesn't come with a remote start.

I think people are confusing factory installed options with dealer installed options. The dealer can install almost anything and warranty it with the car. However, just because the dealership put it in doesn't mean it is an Infiniti option.

Hmmm it's not a joke and it's not aftermarket guys. I have remote start on my key fob as well. All I have to do is lock the car three times and it will start up. Mine is an '06

Remote start has never been a factory installed option. It may be a dealer installed option (considered aftermarket) but it is not OEM.

Wow I think you might be right. I checked out my reference guide and it had nothing on the remote start. I've always thought it was factory installed. I bought my car used, so I wonder how much the previous owner had to shell out to get the remote start feature installed.
