if I click my lock unlock, panic button (from the hours of 11pm-6am) a hot woman in a gown comes out of this big red door just a couple of feet away from my car.. it's like bootycall!

if i hit lock twice on my keyfob it starts my car. then once i get in just have to turn the ignition to on to keep it on or step on the break to shut it off. bought my car used though..

 

so have we concluded that this was an aftermarket option installed by the dealer at time of purchase? does anyone know if you can still have this done to our cars?

yes this is an aftermarket option installed by the dealer, when i bought my G a few months ago from infiniti i got an alarm as well as remote start put on by the dealer. it is programed into my intelli key fob and all i have to do is hit lock 4 times and hold it the 4th time to start the car.

 

yes you can add a remote start system to your '05 with no problem.

 

how much does the dealer charge to do this?

 

I would imagine that the price is dealer specific but would guess it would be twice as much as a local car stereo shop would charge!

It is a factory option. When I got my car, I said I wanted everything including remote start. The sales guy said, sorry, but remote start are not available on the 6mt. And he showed me the papers.. That option was only available on 5at.
