How long is the DAYLIGHT SAVINGS NAV "auto update" supposed to take?

It's now almost 24 hours since we set the clocks back.....I drove my coupe over 1 hour today and it's still showing the 'old' time.

The NAV is set to DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ON and the time hasn't budged. How often does the NAV look for a time update from the freaking satellites? Or how often do the sats send a time signal to be picked up? Once a day; once an hour .. ??

Seems a bit odd to offer a feature that doesn't work worth a damn, or maybe mine isn't working at all. Needless to say the analog clock and the digital on the NAV screen aren't sync'd so you can have any time on the analog one <sigh>

You have to set it under the setting, Clock. It's where it says Daylight Savings Time, make sure you take the mark out of the box, the box on Daylight savings Time should be gray instead of orange.

the nav doesnt do it automatically. Technically, Daylight savings ends today, so u gotta go to your setting and turn off daylight savings time

If you have NAV it's supposed to change automatically, like Windows XP, when we are changing all other clocks manually. At least it will in my '06 coupe.

PS: But it hasn't yet

That would explain a lot, I have it highlighted RE: orange not grey it was that way when I bought the car.

I'll reset it back to grey see what it does. I was thinking we were going to EDT not EST so I never changed it!

Duhh!!

Yes you have to turn off the daylight savings under settings to fall back an hour.
