Angry 04 Dead Battery

Hey guys, my battery died this week. I had it in the dealership about 2 weeks ago, and after that, it started having a hard time cranking up, and finally died on me. How long do your original batteries last? Mine is an '04 with 45K on it....I thought they were supposed to last longer, but the dealer "assured" me that this was normal.

Shouldn't this be completely covered by the 60K warranty?

He said it was prorated, and I ended up paying 58 bucks for a new one.

WTF???

He's right.....pro-rated , and the OEM tires too.
They're not making batteries like they used to....2-3 yrs is not good service IMHO.
