You will not be the first to install Cams, Headers, EMS w/ Tune, Exhaust, Spacer... ) And the only person that I know here that used to have over 300whp NA beast is ISMSOLUTIONS. Trust me he does have much much more than that to actually break the 300whp club. Hint: Ask ISMSOLUTIONS on what mod he did on his bottom end, I think he actually have a totally different short block on his NA beast. I doubt he will tell us coz a lot of people already did.

Yes, you are dreaming.

If it is that easy then everyone would have 300whp car... Name me at least 3 people here that has over 300whp NA beast?
I never said it would be cheap, nor easy, I just said I wanted it done. Its easy to go FI, its not easy to build the 300WHP NA "beast". I want to be different. Ive never been a big fan of forced induction to be honest. So, 300WHP NA is my goal.

thats awesome man i give you respect for that, i like that idea but i woul djust much rather have a lot more Hp for the $$. Im greedy haha. Plus i do love that turbo sound. It would be sick to say you have a N/A beast over 300rwhp. Sick. keep us updated on your progress man. And i will do the same!

you know reading all these post saying the cost of running n/a and FI and how n/a cost alot of internal and that FI is cheaper blah blah blah. Here is my two cent even if you go FI you will eventually have to start moddding the internals so you might as well start moding as if you were getting n/a to hit 300rwhp once you achieve it then slap a turbo of FI to make it even more. PUHAHAHAHAHA

I dont think im gonna have to modify the internals if I go F/I.. why would I. I would def be all set with 400rwhp, wouldnt want anymore. be asking for too much and wouldnt wanna harm my beautiful car. going into internals is far from what i wanna do!

I'm with you on that... If I had a choice and $$$ is no object then nothing can replace an Engine screaming at 12K RPM. I have mad respect for NA's guys, and like Skunk2 said in an article, any monkey can throw in a Turbo and be fast. Realistically, I would say prepare to spend close to $10K or maybe more to go over 300+whp (Not inflated Dyno) coz there is lots of lots of tunning required.

Good luck and when you have achieved your goal and wanted to sell the parts half price, I'll be first in line

Plenum upgrade add 15+ whp across the power band and not peak (RevUp experience ). though you can feel the power it won't win any awards on bragging right. If I'm not mistaken Mrev+/spacer actually hurt the last few hundred RPM power. if you look at the Dyno, you'll see that Mrev/space on a revup engine actually lost power on the last few hundred RPM but did increase the power on the midrange (3.5K to 6K RPM).

And a lightweight flywheel definitely hurts your 1/4. Believe me. It hurts your launch(bog), and doesn't keep the momentum up between shifts; it really hurts your top-end. It hurts mine.

You want 12's, NA? Do a popcharger, test pipes, get a utec plus a *good* tune, some lightweight wheels and slicks. It won't be easy, but it's possible. If you're not afraid of doing internals, do some cams. But that's gonna be pricey.

Before you call BS, do your research! Look up member "Zillinois" on my350Z. This is the guy I talked to when I considered the FD. He has ran low 13's in his Z and he'll tell the FD does help. Quid pro quo. Give me a name of a guy who said it didn't help in the 1/4 mile.

As far as the flywheel, to each his own, but I've personally cut a 2.0 60' with the JWT 14 lb flywheel on street tires.

Well, I thought I was, but everyone jumped on me so I guess I was wrong.

Is there a conversion from a Mustang AWD dyno that I should be using?

Talking about Mike, aka Coldfusion? Back when I had a 3200lb/300whp Mustang his Z with just a catback and intake would hang door to door with me up until 100+mph, and then I'd finally start creeping away from him. I was trapping 106mph at the time. His Z is no joke! Factory freak?
