Hello,

guys, i bought my G, and it came with AP Racing front brakes. They squeak like crazy, im not even sure if its the rotors or the pads. The car only has 9000 miles. It gets really annoying. Anyone know what it can be? I wouldnt want to go back to factory rotors after these are already installed....

what can it be?

 

it could only be two things.. need new pads or check if the surface of the rotor is smooth

 

Hopefully you have a bead of silencer on the back of the pads..and broke in the pads per the mfr recommendations....if the rotor looks ok might try some 60 to 20mph hard braking out on a deserted road somewhere. .allow some time for the brakes to cool in between.. do several of those.. should remove any glaze or deposits that might be on the rotor.
