Get a manual, you won’t regret it.

I've only ever owned a stick myself. I get myself into trouble with automatics because of it. In essence I don't know how to drive an automatic.

When driving an auto I constantly go for the clutch (oddly I never go for the stick :-|). Also, on more then one occasion I ended up putting an auto into PARK causing the wheels to lock up and sliding around like cazy. Somehow I doubt I did any good to the transmission :-/

Now with my new G I need to get used to a 6th gear. All the way right and down has ALWAYS been reverse for me. I keep killing my clutch putting it into 6th while trying to back up (soon time for an ultralight flywheel and clutch upgrade (-.

yeah, my problem with this is not even on a hill, even on flat service the shift from 1-2 is SLOW...

also. F those tailgaters... especially on a hill. I have to roll back on purpose to tell those ***** to stop creeping up on me.. them being 1-2 inches away from my bumper on a steep hill is not going to get them to their destination FASTER... i can't understand why people dont understand the concept giving a couple of distance from you and the other driver.
