which unit are you hardwiring? ... regardless it is very simple..

my unit sits to the right of my rear view mirror. I tucked the wire up into the seam along the windshield and rain it down the drivers side A pillar. When I got to the dash, i continued down the trim in the seal to the compartment under the steering column and above the pedals. I used the fuse box on the back right corner of the left wall. It's the accessories fuse box. I have a concealed display that runs up through the steering column to my gauge cluster. The connector for the valentine hardwire kit ( i think it's called a J11 splitter) is spliced and plugged into either the dome lighting or the homelink so that it only powers up when I turn the car on. The fuse is 10v, if I remember correctly, so it is more than enough to handle the extra power

I'm wondering how you run the wire from the rear view mirror.

Pillar A?

Need like pics.

the A pillar is the pillar between your windshield and drivers side window

I pulled the wire out in some places so you can see where it runs... it is very easy to push the wire behind the headliner and pillars. Once you get to the bottom of the A pillar, run the wire along the edge, as shown, to the rubber runner that goes down the opening of the door frame and pop off the underbelly of the steering column if you have a concealed display as well to hookup the J11 connector... the next post will have where you should plug into... which is actually a 15v fuse...

Thanks for the step by step pics.

Last question is were you ran the wire from the last pic.

On a side note, everywere you ran the wire did you have to pull out the components in the car or whatnot. Or did you just squeeze the wires in through the car.
