Radar Detector and 20% tint

Those of you who have non-metallic tint that is close to 20% all around except the windshield and a radar detector, does the tint affect your radar detector's performance? did you notice any difference?

there shouldn't be any difference if it's non metallic tint. I have 20% in the rear and will be getting a V1 sometime in the future.

I had 5% all the way around on my last car with the V1 and it still worked fine.

limo in rear and the v1 works fine. just make sure it has a very good line of sight. i put mine center center pretty much just cause i feel it is the most effective way of picking up a signal
