i'll still take my G though.
M3 is not in the G35 range.
M3 has 333HP, G has about 300.
That's what probably throws people off is that the G only has 30 less HP.
We all know about weight differential, except that the M3 is CRAZY EUROTUNED.
We need to shut M3 threads down. Period.
UNLESS A G BLOWS IT OUT OF THE WATER

The '08 G35 coupes should be very similar in terms of straight line performance to the E46 m3, but then again by 2008, I'm sure the M3 will have like 400hp.
And yes, the 335i gives the E46 a good run for the money.

The main thing is that you own a car that you like and the hell with what others think, unless of course they are willing to help you with the purchase price.
I agree P. Diddy, I use to own a e46 m3 coupe before owning my FI G35 and that car in the highway is crazy fast. Not many cars under 100k will beat it 80-150 mph. Since owning both cars I will say I miss many things about the M3 but love my G. And when both FI, there is once again no comparing the two:
A good friend of mine just got his m3 back from active autoworks with a stage 3 sc with flywheel, clutch, etc. and I wouldn't even think about racing him. That is the fastes car Ive ever been in. he has a stock 911 turbo and says the m3 is much faster, 500+ rwph
