Hks/rotrex

I was on a UK 350z site the weekend and someone was saying that rotrex have fallen out with HKS. Has anyone heard anything about this over there as this was the supercharger i was going to have fitted in Feb/March.

I believe HKS stopped making Rotrex-based superchargers a few months ago. HKS Japan was experimenting with ST, TT, and Eaton supercharger setups. I haven't heard of any of those coming to the US.

Yep thats what he was saying. HKS now prefer ST route for G35 and 350z.
Had a couple of 350z TT blow up over here with recent install. One fella spent £7k on install then after blown engine £18k to put it right.

It's true. I talked with a guy at ZDayz who had the only G35 coupe with the HKS SC kit on it. He said HKS is no longer dealing with Rotrex. He actually sold the car a few months back.

That's Scott, installed by AAM in Maryland. Although he claims to be the first & only, He was actually the second guy installed HKS Rotrex on G35 in this furum, The first guy was from Taiwan but I think he is no longer active.
