Re: hey guys.. quick question...
Octane Booster is a fuel additive that will raise the octane level of the fuel in your tank. You can get it from any auto parts store. Its general use is for people with high-end and or highly modified sports cars, specially those with superchargers, turbos and nitrous systems. This way thay can be certain the fuel they're burning is of optimum octane levels, as you can never truly be sure what you're getting at the pump is 100% what it states to be.
In your case, you really dont need any octane booster. Your G is not that "fuel sensitive" compared to that of maybe a supercharged car where the detonation factor is CRITICAL. Just top it off with some premium fuel, and from now on just use premium gas, and you'll be just fine.
The problem comes when people get "hooked" on this stuff and start pouring it into their tank left and right, misuing it. Its being marketed by many as a quick way to gain more power, but the truth of the matter is, unless you use it as directed, which many don't, you really wont see much of a power increase, and even if you do use it correctly, the gains are so minimum, you would need a dyno to see the 1-2-3-4+ ponies (MAYBE) you gained at redline. It's just not worth it for your application...
So my suggestion, dont waste your money on it!
