Tein Basics and Sways

I never knew how much of a BIZNOTCH it could be to install basics and sways. I started on my own around 3 and I still hvaen't been able to install my first one!!!! I noticed that the sways were just tedious but not too hard to do. Its the basics that I'm stuck on. I released the three nuts on top under the hood, and i took off the nut holding the sways. The only thing is, i can't take the stock coilover out! Its just stuck!!! Do i need to get a spring compressor?? WHAT SHOULD I DOOO!!!!!

You're very lucky...i'm happy that you didn't hurt yourself in the process, although you could of seriously lost a finger or two. Whenever removing a shock or strut...you should always use a spring compressor. The reason its stuck is beacause the shock is compressed by the shock itself and more importantly the spring. They are avail. on rent from autozone, or advance auto parts, any auto part store really.
