Pics: Black Obsidian Coupe - 20% Tint

Finally after a year and a half I got my car tinted 20% all around (except windshield) about a week ago, but waited for a week till the sun was out to take pics...just wanted to share

Before...

After...

Not bad huh? You can't even tell that I had stone interior until I roll the windows down, my friends thought it was a nice contrast with the outside being all black and the inside all light.

Yeah, I had this discussion before, I just never had time to do it and the dealer refused to take it off when I first got it because they were afraid of scratching the paint so they instead reduced the price of the vehicle. I travel too much to have the time to heat the 3M strip, strip it, clean the residue, wax/polish, etc. For now I'll just live with it until I quit my job...

Tint looks really nice! Car looks great with it!
Too bad its so hard to remove the body side moldings, but you can still get some clear corners.

It will take you about 1 hour per side....What kind of job do you have that you dont have 2 hours to spend on the ride?

Nice ride man, I actually think the moldings look okay on the car. To each his own, and I agree about the clear turn signals, especially on a Black car.

Don't worry, clear corners will die just like they did in the late 90's with the Integras.

Car really looks nice. You went from Pimp to Super Pimp
Not too familiar with the molding, but is that a white color molding?

Seriously for you NY guys, whats the legal % for tints in NY? 20% dont look that bad but I'm assuming thats still light?

Very nice. I have 20% on mine too. Not too dark, not too light, just right.
