Good luck on your purchase!! I in contrast, got rid of my 05 STi to get the G. If you live in the Tri-State area, you might want to call your insurance company to see how much you will be getting shafted for each year before you sign any purchase agreements. FYI, the STi is biased towards the rear, so you can still get tail out!! And trust me, off the line, its stupid silly dumb fast, but don't go pick silly fights from a roll!

My girlfriend owned an STI, it was just totalled, someone from the opposite side of traffic hit her head on. I'd have to say I wasnt wearing a seatbelt in the passenger side and not even a scratch on either of us..thank god, it held up really well. Good luck with that thing. I drove it all the time. Handles great, fast, faster then a N/A G of course. But geeez man...she has the electic blue one, with the big wing. I'm 26 not 16, i wouldn't be caught dead valeting that thing outside the entrance of any night club here in NY. That would be embarassing..thats just my take on the STI.
