Unhappy Stupid sound

I was in an accident earlier this month where I was cut off and I went over a median. $2200 later...and some rear-suspension parts changed...I have this stupid sound coming from what I believe the rear. It sounds like something is rubbing... If i can take u back to the good ol days, when we used to ride bikes...lets say your rim was bent and everytime that bent section of the rim came near the brake pad it would rub against it.

The best way I can explain the sound is like....

HUMMMMMMMMM .... pause... HUMMMMMM.... pause.... HUMMMM

It only happens at 40+ mph and the rubbing 'hum' increases in speed as I increase in speed.... I know I have to bring it back to the body shop who fixed it...but does any1 have any thoughts on what it could possibly be ?

Hard to say. Could be a bent rim, a tire rubbing on bodywork, bad rear alignment..............

G/L with repairs

I had something like that in my s2k, and it turned out to be an alignment issue, lots of negative camber
