To be completely honest with you, I am very very happy my center console does not have that fake plastic titanium crap on it. When I was looking at the display, I lightly ran my finger nail across it and it freaking scratched it. I think the matte finish is very nice and looks much better, especially after 6 months. This is just MY opinion though...............

Count me among those who strongly dislike the titanium trim. AT Coupes only get the Casio wristwatch casing on the center console if you get the "Performance Tire and Wheel Package."
Why is it with wheels? I don't know. There's a good amount options on this car, but it seems like you either have to take all of them or none of them.

What is aluminum? I could have sworn it was plastic. I have the trim on my inside door handles. Looks like plastic to me. I have the willow interior, and the matte non glossy plastic on the center console is very nice. It matches the rest of the dark grey nicely. Plus my little dog is in the car sometimes and it doesn't scratch as easily........ just my opinion though. I really doubt its aluminum.......

Well, I'll let you know for sure on Wednesday when I pick up my car.
I was looking at it while at the dealer and asked "thats not real aluminum right? it's aluminum 'look'?" and was told, no.. its real aluminum. It did feel cold like metal would.
Personally, I like the aluminum. The car looks plain without it. If I had the Willow interior, I might be able to live w/o it, but the Graphite looks awful w/o it. IMO. ;-)
Anyhow, the choice shouldnt be whether you like the trim or not. The point is, if you get the Wheel package it comes w/ LSD. I can't believe anyone would concider not getting it. It should be standard, period.
If you dont like the 18's or live in a snowy area, or if you dont like the trim, you could have easily traded it to someone who wanted that stuff but did not want to shell out the extra bucks up front.
The way I see it... I paid $600 for LSD. It also happened to come w/ 18's (which I'll probably replace anyway) and the aluminum trim (which I happen to like).

It's definitely plastic, and if you have an AT you get it with the performance tire and wheel package. It's been a subject here for a while because people have been saying it scratches easily.

I would probably agree with you that the matte plastic would look dull on graphite interior while it looks nice on the willow. But if you had a choice, don't go with the crap and put an after market brushed aluminum kit on......
