Brand new car - First time washing/waxing

So I bought my car on November 8, 2006, and will wash it very soon. I was wondering if it is too early to wax it? When would be a good time to wax it and how often?

you could have washed it the first day and waxed it.

Try Klasse polish and sealant. It lasts a long time and looks good esp on black or dark colored cars. I usually buy from autogeek.net

Before you wax it do a good wash. And get a clay bar and spray kit from Auto Zone or Advance auto. When you get done your paint will feel like glass. Then apply a good wax.

no its not too early to wash and wax. our 2006 model was bult in the late 2005 and early 2006.

if ur car was painted a week ago, then yes, it would be too early to wash and wax.

personally, i clay about once every 3 months. I use all meguires products. Meguires 3 step and get a good coat of NXT tech on there with NXT spray wax in between wax jobs, and NXT speed detailer in between washes, keeps it looking really clean.

Does anyone have a method of cleaning the all weather floor mats besides just rinsing them?

How does everyone clean their dashboards? I'm assuming not with armor all.

what brand wax wash do you use

I just purchased a 2006 laser red tan interior coupe. I was wondering what brands everyone is using for washing and waxing and what they think. I was looking at Meguiars, Mothers, Wolfgang and Pinnacle. Any one used any of these products or some others and had good results?
