The Quattro system makes the TT slower even if it was the 225. If there was dual exhaust then it was the 225. And it prob was modded.

The all wheel drive makes it a good launch car but there no way it would have beat you inless it was modded.

There not slow, but not as fast as us. It had to be modded. The new model coming out tho I think will be pretty good.

I use to own a 225 HP TT and with a chip it produced around 275 HP. A few other mods pushed it to around 300 HP. Chipped 225 TTs are very, very common, and they certainly are as quick as an unmodded G35s. What impressed me most about my TT was its interior. Man, Audi certainly knows how to build 1st class interiors.

My brother-in-law has the 3.2 TT Quatro which kicks out 246 BHP. The published figures are 6.3 seconds to 60 (6.2 for the DSG). I believe this to be the fastest model and I can say that it does NOT feel fast compared to my G.

By the way, people are mentioning chipping the TT for great gains in power. Is this simple option not available for us G drivers.

Saab 9-2 is basically a Subaru WRX. They share the same platform, engine and tranmission.

Yea,

I think Audi is the best interior you can get out of a car. They have been rewarded for so many things on the design of the interior. The RS4 have amazing insides.

I wonder what the 0-60 and what not is on the new 2008's.

No we do not; the chip ups the boost for the turbo, we do not have turbo's stock. My brother has an older 1.8T A4 quatro with chip upgrade. When the car start out it feels slow; much slower than the G. But when the turbo kicks in it's fast as f***. I could imagine a chipped 2.0 would be a monster.

chipped 1.8 with stock turbo is almost as fast a 6MT G, After 60 G is still faster.

With the larger engine option, speculation is that the TT will run low to mid 5s in 0/60.
