the other night i got beat by an audi tt are they really that fast??

i dont know this think pulled on me unless theres somthing wrong with my g

 

maybe you are on six gear while racing him under 60mph. He's either modded or you are on the wrong gear when you guys started on a roll.

 

There are two different TTs ones a 180hp the other is a 225HP Plus they are allwheel drive you can make them pretty quick my guess is that it was a modded 225

 

what about the saab? are they really faster?

225 and one is 250hp turbo. from what i remember. it was prolly mod'd

 

Just like the A4 and the Golf/Jetta/Passat 1.8t, a chip upgrade and exhaust and they can be pretty fast.

 

Very true, i believe the golf 1.8t actualy has the same engine set up as the GTI just a different chip or ecu whatever you want to call it.

These cars can be fast, but even the 250hp one was being compared with the Z and car & driver or one of those shows said the z was still faster.

 

Learn to drive and it wont happen again. The only way you should loose is if your car is ****ed up, mechanicall speaking, or if the TT has some serious mods. You should have been able to tell this, via hearing upgraded turbo sounds.

 

thats shameful...i was crusing in 5th being tailed by a TT and the bridge ahead of us opened up he tried passing i dropped into 4th then 3rd and i was goooone b4 the bridge even started lol

 

They have WRX engine and turbo LOL

Have you seen the interior of the car?? its share the same looking door handle and ac vents etc.

 

Audi TT 3.2 is pretty fast though...
250hp + DSG...

 

Audi TTs are not slow- particularly th enewer models. If he got the jump on you and he was modded if is easy to phathom him winning.

The older ones are slow.
