Has anyone used these Touch-Up Paint Pens on the G?

I got touch up paint from the dealership, which was similar to what your link shows. One part is a small brush, the other part has a pen tip. I used the Ivory Pearl on a small part under my bumper where it scraped, and it came out pretty nice. Infiniti gave me the Nissan brand which included the paint and the clear coat.

 

How do you apply that stuff? Do you have any tips? I imagine it goes on as sloppy as whiteout does on paper...

 

I didn't even try the brush, but the Nissan pen tip worked well. It didn't leak out all over the place like I thought it would. To be safe I used 3M painter's tape to protect the surrounding area, but other than that I just touched it up, then waited overnight before applying the clear coat.

 

If you do decide to use the brush, the correct way is to use as little as possible. People make the mistake by thinking the more paint on the brush, the better results. No...you should be applying a thin layer of touch up three times. This is for touch up paint from the dealer. Don't know how the pen works.
