Does It Make You Upset That Previous To 06 There Was No Rear Active Stear?

i was kind of feeling bad that my car doesnt have rear active steer, but then there is the thought that it makes drving at high speeds uncontrollable, and it would make the car kind of unstabel. is it better to have it or not? if you think about it many sports allmost all of them do not have it. i guess its better not to have it? give me your insite on the situation?

Judging by the lack of responses, I would say no.

I don't know the point of it. Until i ride in a car with it and it makes me seem like mine is inferior i'll comment. And even then ill still have to think about the price differnce.....

No a fan of active rear steering or on a different note, air suspension. The cars I've owned with either offered whooly/or sketchy mid corner high speed handling.
Then again, I haven't had a chance to drive the G35 Coupe so equipped. My understanding is that the Active Steer car comes with a quicker steering ratio, so I would like to check it out.

I'd like to do a back to back review.

I don't let it bother me. It's the same as Brembos, you're happy if you have it, but you are also just as fine if you don't. Every year or two they will come up with something new, so whenever you'll think you have averything, within a matter of months, you will realize there is something new and better out. Just think of all those people without traction control or HIDs. And if you really want something, just make sure you have enough money for it when its time to buy your next car, like I did when for years I wanted RWD, 6mt, with Navi and black leather.

ive driven an 06 g35 with and without the RAS and honestly it makes hardly any difference. unless your actually trying to find a difference you hardly notice its there. thats why i opted not to pay the extra money for it

I like the 06 projectors, 03-05 clearance stripe, 06 front bumper and side skirts, 03-05 rear spoiler, 07 NAV, 03-04 Brembos, 04 Center Consoler, 05 interior material and 03 colors. The rear active steering? That one I don't really care, just more weight for the piggy to haul around.

there are advantages and disadvantages to everything. RAS is nice for people who like having a bit more help in the turning of their car. Some people don't even like power steering (they may be a bit crazy), but you might also contend that RAS is just another part waiting to break and make you pay a bunch of money without offering a substantial difference.

Brembos are nice, and perform like few OEM braking systems can, but they also produce a lot of brake dust and they wear out more quickly than the newer non-brembo brakes. Would I have picked the brembos? yes, but I also like not having to clean my wheels every 3 days like I did on my mini and bimmer. But I would still have gotten it.

And let's not even get into the 03-04 engine compared to the supposed "rev-up" engine of the 05-07 coupes. I'd like to see what ghosn does with the 08 coupe engine, though. I have my doubts that it will be able to compete with the 335 coupe like the current one competed with the 330 coupes.

anyways.

I don't think RAS counts as one of those things that people care too much about... at least not quite as much as the debate between the 03-04 versus 05-06 set ups.
