I live in NY, just north of NJ. Lucky for us, there are several really cheap gas stations just over the border into NJ.

The current gas prices are about $1.27 for regular and 1.39 for premium.

Where in NJ are you paying $1.96? The most expensive stations I see are more like $1.65 for premium.

And like I said, there are stations that are selling premium in the $1.30's.

Are you anywhere near Montvale or Park Ridge?

 

i pay $176 for ultra at sunoco 94 octane
its the one in nj right by the gwb. on route 46 west at the beginning. its a special only on wed. and even less for super on tue

 

$35 and it only last 4 to 5 days

I only buy 10 gallons at any one time. I dont' look at the prices because it hurts (So Cal); I let them take it on my credit card.. Mobil or 76.

if youre near a costco gas station, then i think it's worth it to go to one. if you don't mind paying with only an amex or atm/debit card, and that you have to be a costco member, then its well worth the trouble. it's at least 15 to 30 cents cheaper per gallon than elsewhere...

Tonight, premium (93) was running $1.46 a gallon.

 

I guess I probably pay the most... $2.18 a gallon shell premium.

 

i don't care what i pay for gas. it's like toilet paper, i need it, i buy it, i don't look at the price. i guess i will only notice when it gets insane. 2.18 is pretty crazy. you buy a 30+k car and worry about gas prices? don't mind me...it's my night of drunk posting.

-edit- my bad, i shouldn't have said "worry." it is crazy how much gas prices vary throughout the country.
