if u all recall there was a video some time ago that has a race bewteen the G a 350 and a S2K. the resalts were in that order. the S2K us fast dont get me wrong but our cars are better. Even in the turns the S2K didnt gain much. check the video out

 

.Post the video never seen it...but honestly the S2000 would for sure hand our G's their asses on a track...Dude that car can shake and move...the handling in an S2000 has the spirit of a Integra Type R...very good auto crosser

Face it...the S2000 is a little faster than our car in a straight line, but on the track, its A LOT faster...that damn thing handles like its on rails!

Dude an M3 couldnt hang with s2000 on corners!

I also read somewhere the G35c got a better skidpad rating .92 vs Z's .88 and in the slalom it was 67 compared to 66 of the Z. I think it was motortrend. And im not bsing this, i dont even have a G yet, im debating a Z or a G,

 

Doesn't matter what car he owns. Any manual driver is better than a slush box driver. You can't have it all. If your car is an auto its your beater car and don't try to pose it as an performance machine.

 

the race was between a m3 a g and a z

the g was ahead the whole time (6speed) then the z and then the M3.

IN THE LAST LAP, LAST corner on the way out to straightline, it took the G and won the race. Which from dirty driving or a different entry and exit line could have been avoided.

First off the s2000 does handle well, the skidpad number on the G is higher than the Z and so is the 600 ft slalom, I am not sure of the skidpad of the S or the slalom and am too lazy to look.

The M3 is not a very good handling car anyway, its more of a straighline car, thats why the G dominated the race till the last lap .. last corner and the M outpowered the G plainly on that ONE turn to win.

The S2000 would NOT win in a track race.

I've test drove both stick and auto G but due to the heavy traffic that we got in Hawaii i ended up getting the auto G which would simply make my life easier. Guess what, i'm better than u (as a stick driver I assumed) in ANY way...so does all the 5AT G drivers on the forum. Perhaps get urself a G before u wanna say ur [censored] over here.

aite since i have AT g, i'll not race to those MANUAL civics, integs even when they are in stock form cuz like you said, my auto g is beater and civics are real race cars... thanks for telling me that SMG m3 is not an sports car...(smg, it's manual but you don't push in/out clutch and you don't shift gear tap it just like MM mode so i'll just call it here AT and b4 someone telling me anything about smg, smg is "manual" and i know how it works)

 

If you want to debate the auto vs. manual make a new thread. this is a thread about the S2K vs a G35. Your comments about the autos is comptly un called for. if u have a manual then good for you. if have an auto then good for you. but there is no reson to debate which is better. Its more important to remember that we drive G35. We should be united vs. all this arugmenting. What good will come from making fun of the auto driver? none. Keep you comments to our self of if u want to argue go to freshalloy or somthing but dont mess up this forum.

Now back to the S2K vs. the G35. i was sorry i was talking abou the wrong video. there is one were it is a m3 vs a G35 vs a Boxter vs a 350z vs a S2K vs a skyline GTR. If i recall corretly the boxter gave up after one lap then the GTR blew by every one. The G35 was in the lead untill the last lap when it was passed by the m3 . the S2K tried to catch up in the turns but the speed of the G35 and 350Z was to much and it simple could not over come it. The entery were faster for the S2K but the 350Z and G35 exited with much greater speed.

 

I remember that video, and the only reason the skyline was behind in the beginning is because it was the camera car .

Everyone is better than bobm3. He himself substantiates this fact as it is apparent through his own insecurities-in that he has to take shots at people because of the kind of car that one chooses. My thoughts are that bobm3 is probably like 16 or 17 years old whose parents own a G 5AT and never lets him drive it. And therefore, he is out to bring down all 5AT owners just to spite his parents. It's OK boob-m3, I'm sure that you have reached your maximum potential. Be Proud!

 

WHY do people love to take things out of context on these forums. MRElussive, my comment about caring about your car in reference to dropping the clutch or brake-torquing from excessive RPMs or driving abound frequently at sustained high RPM's. That IS bad for your car. If you don't believe that then you are sadly mistaken...

I think that some people care more about their opinions than their cars.

 

New s2k has been recorded at 13.86 in the 1/4mi according to mototrend. Then again, i believe some car mags out there favore some cars.....
