6mt Coupe Owners ... Which gear and rpm does your G pull the most?
i like 5th and 6th.. cuz it saves more gas..lol!
i think 3rd pulls pretty hard on our car. i dont like our 2nd gear..nothing to do with power..but it just feels rubbery sorta. kinda hard to get into 2nd from other gears. none of the other gears feel this way. anyone knows what im talkin bout?
i actually like our 5th gear.. like i may be cruising at 6th..then drop to 5th and our cars just pulls.. i love the torq we have!

I agree with bubbletea, I'm really surprised with the pull when you drop to 5th at (higher) freeway speeds... Just wish the shifter didn't vibrate so much at higher rpms in all gears, makes it feel like the motor's working harder than it really is!
AT.
All these are IMO:
1st Gear - Feels pretty boring and slow. Rather disappointing. Also feels short. (Ends around 35 mph, but would be a lot faster if it went at least to 45)
2nd Gear - Fun but doesn't last. Also too short. 2nd gear at 4k rpm, rocks your head back the most for sure.
3rd Gear - Perfect. Gives other cars their run for the money.
4th Gear - Beginning feels very slow, till you get to around 120 then it feels like it doesn't lose speed at all.
5th Gear - Cruising gear. Good.

If you know how to drive your car, first gear is without a doubt the hardest pulling of the gears.
If you just mash the throttle, you will most definitely spin the rear wheels at just about any RPM in 1 and get very little to show for your ineptitude except for a pricey new pair of tires.
If, however, you know how to modulate throttle response, 1st gear will hammer you into your seat at 4000RPM.

Gotta be 3rd gear, its long enough for you to not shift and be able to watch the car your pulling away from fall back
(For better effect, roll down drivers side window and drive in the lane next to the center divider woah!)
