As you can see id just like to know for all you 6mt coupe owners which gear "pulls" the most for you. As for me its 3rd gear @ 3400-4500 rpm -- Stock ... anyone else?

Third would be my favorite gear as well, seems to pull the hardest

 

I like my 2nd and 3rd the best

 

3rd at 4000ish

 

Probably second gear for me, from like 2700 to 4500.... so I can still accelerate fast but still stay within the speed limit of most streets. First gear doesn't get much pull on hard rolling acceleration because the tires just spin.

 

This is the first car I've owned that 3rd gear pulls the hardest. Even 4th is fun. In my past cars 2nd always was the best gear to floor.

 

Thirds my favorite and not just for the G. I found it to pulled the hardest in my previous cars as well. '89 MR2 SC and '93 Civic EX.

 

What about first? Duh?

 

My fav has to be 3rd as well from 3400 and up... I am a fan of 4th as well however.

 

3rd for me... let's say you guys are driving ~50mph in 4th... do you guys drop it to 2nd and squeeze the last few mph or just go to 3rd? and if u go to 3rd... at what pt would it be more beneficial to drop to 2nd?

 

2nd and 3rd for me from 3500 to 5000.

 

i'd say 3rd (city) or 4th (higway)

 

yeah about the same as you... from 4200 rpms and up

 

2nd @ 4k rpm
