do all 2006 models have short throw shifter? because when i first purchased the car, it felt like it had short throw. i had my car for about 5-6 months now and feels like i dont have a short throw anymore. weird right? i'm also looking at the paper that was posted on my car when it was for sale, i was looking for "short throw transmission" but it's not posted in there. and i thought maybe it was an automatic throw in to have a short throw to a 6MT? no?

Unless you installed a short shift kit yourself, the car did not come with one. Furthermore, it's highly unlikely that the "throw" has changed much since you've owned your car.

it does come with a "short throw". the term is relative however. it is shorter than most cars throws but it can be made much shorter with after market short throws as well. when i installed my stillen short throw is felt insanely short, more like a click really.

you have only become used to your shifter throw now. if you install an even shorter throw, you will eventually become used to that too.
