I just want to know what kinds of effect will engine damper kit do for the G. I am not sure this mod is cost effective, please share some thoughts.
Thanks

You will also notice a few more squeaks and rattles - after all, nothing is compensating for the movement any longer.

I remember reading a few thread over on my350z.com, one said that it was really the worst mod ever, becasue the hold cabin shook, and the more recent one said it was really good. though i think they were differnet brands. the good one was Stillen...

i have the stillen dampener a works great you def. feel more torque on the low end. you can consider it as a small shock absorber.
Benefits:
--- Improved off-the-line acceleration
--- Reduced wheel hop
--- Improved vehicle stability
--- Reduced shock load on driveline components
--- Smoother shifting
--- Reduced wear on exhaust system joints

BUt then again, I recently installed the Sun Auto hyperforce (not to be confused for the hypervoltage), and my engine ran and idled alot smoother. So I figured the added vibration of the damper added the extra vibrations I was used to w/o the hyperforce... making the vibrations back to stock again. I dont know if I just made sence or not. If I didnt, too bad, I dont feel like checking what I wrote and re-wording it.

This tranny doesn't shift hard at all compared to the blazingly hard WOT shifts of something like an F-Body LT1/LS1. I'd kill to have my G35 shift like my 94 Z28. Smooth shifts around town and super hard at WOT (like it should).
