How does the G hold up in the winter?

Anyone with the OEM 19's use their G regularly in the winter? How is it? I hear a lot about how it slips and there's no traction but then again they said samething about my previous car, MR2 and it was fine. Obviously you would have to drive with more caution when there's snow but some people make it sound like the G is an absolute NO for the winter. Just curious if anyone uses their G with the stock 19's regularly and any tips and/or concerns I should know about is very much appreciated. Thanks!

It's not so much your 19's. What tires you are running is the most important. A set of decent winter tires and common sense should get you through fine.

I would definitely look into getting winter tires. I recommend the Dunlop Winter Sport M3's. I wanted a new set of 19's since I currently am running stock 17's but decided to wait until spring as to not scratch or ruin them automatically. Once I do get them they will come off again for next winter, don't want to risk it with how the conditions get around here.
