Short Throw Shifter

Hey everyone, just bought myself an 04 G35.... and my first upgrade will be a short throw. Had one on my previous car and LOVED the precise feel and short throw. I believe it's a must. Any info on which brand to go with?! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have the B&M and have had no issues with it... Installed it about 2 years ago and it still does ok for me!

Rogue engineering.

Heard B&M rattles after a while. Maybe not all, but lots of posts that it does.

short as in what? shift between gears or in height? if youre thinking short shift means the height of the shifter,*ERRRRRR* youre wrong. correct me if i'm wrong but these short shifters mentioned (B&M and RE) are stock height short shifters. the height remains the same but the throws are precise and short

yes, I know what a short throw shifter is! Wow.... I am wondering how much shorter of a throw BETWEEN GEARS it is? I had one on my previous car, and I'd say it was about 45% shorter! Not only that, but it provided for a precise feel when in gear, no floppy jaloppy buisness. Made it feel more like the gates of a ferrari instead of a plate of mashed potatoes!

p.s. Bay, why the crabby attitude? Just asking a question is all

p.p.s any links for the RE? B&M fairly easy to find... RE not so much.

thank you Bull! very useful link. Seems RE is the way to go, reviews look good too. Picking up the G on Tuesday, and ordering RE Short Throw tonight! I can't go back to mashed potatoes, this G won't last 6 hours in my possesion without the short throw.

Thanks Again!

Bay, thanks for nothing!
