Unbelievable!!!!!!!!

sup everyone..

I dont know if some of you's might remember about a month ago or so i posted a thread about a trip i made to albany..i got 5 pts( i already had 4pts from a previous incident) on my license..255$ fine etc etc for going "80" in a 40...more liek 65..it was complete bull**** i jus didnt fight it for various reasons..so im thinking it's all good i pay the fine yeah get my points..& take a course to take 4 points off..i figured i had a total fo 9pts..so i would take 4 off and be left with 5...WRONG..i just got a letter in the mail today from the damn DMV stating that my license will be suspended as off 1/8/2007 for a period of 31days for having over 11 points on my license within a 18 month period. turns out the so called 5 point thing in albany was really 8!!!! so do the math..4+8=12 fukkkin points!!!

now..the good stuff

for a temporary license used only to drive to school n work =75$
when the 31 days are over..25$ fee for some crap
A 300$!!! FEE OVER 3 YEARS FOR OBTAINING MORE THAN 6 POINTS WITHIN 18 MONTHS.

SO THIS IS WHAT THIS DAMN TRIP COST ME..

INITIAL TICKET=255$
TEMPORARY LICENSE+PLUS SOME STUPID FEE=100$
(OVER 6 PTS IN 18 MONTHS)=300$

=655$!! FOR ONE OF THE WORST NIGHTS OF MY LIFE.

WHAT MAKES ME FURIOUS IS THAT ON THE TICKET IT SAID 5 POINTS WHICH IS WHY I JUST PAYED THE ****** FINE, I ASKED THE TROOPER HE SAID 5 POINTS, I RAN INTO A DETECTIVE 2 MINS LATER AND ASKED HIM..HE SAID 5 POINTS!!!!

I GET A LETTER AFTER I PAY THE FINES ETC ECT...UMM 8 POINTS...

IM JUS SO DISGUSTED BY THE SYSTEM I DONT EVEN KNO ANYMORE!

yea yea we all make mistakes im sure almost everyone one of us have gone at very high speeds, some got cought some didnt..in my initial thread (when it happened) i clearly stated how stupid it was of me etc etc etc

And it's not my position to say slow down, cuz I'm SURE you already know, but just lookout.

Yea the system sucks, I know.

 

Give him a break guys, he isn't complaining about the tickets, he is complaining about the fact that the system screwed him and lied to him.

The next time you're in a situation like this, hire an attorney. Never trust the state or their employees to be correct in what they think the ultimate punishment will be for your ticket. Furthermore, never send it in with a guilty plea. That's committing suicide because as you just learned, there's always some hidden bullcrap that only an attorney knows how to fight.

I dont know why most of the posts, people are acting like you dont go over the speed limit. 80 in a 40 is a bit extreme but come one guys. We can all see he got jerked. He's posting because hes pissed. Just let the guy vent. You all sound like his parents.

Sorry abt your ticket man... Its hard to drive slow in a G, we all know it.
