I talked to my salesman and he ststed that there have been talks of dropping the EPA estimates on this car. This has all been thru dealer conversations but I do not think he will lie as I keep in contact with the guy and provide him with alot of good insights on cars

for the first 1000 miles I got about 290-330
1000-1500 miles was about 250-300 per tank
1500-1800 miles about 250

I'm following the breakin suggestions posted in DIY. Baby the car for the 1st 1000 (never over 3500rpm), start to open her up between 1000 and 1500 (up to 4500rpm), 1500 to 2000 drive it harder than you normally do...which is hard for me because I drive way too fast normally).

I have read than an ECU reset after breakin and then normal driving for a while will get you to about 400 miles per tank.

As for me, I wish the car was between 1500 and 2000 miles forever

I get at least 320 miles per tank.

My city mileage is around 300 miles, mix city and hwy is 400 miles. If I go all hwy at speed limit I can go over 500.
Not bad for the fun involved.

My average really is about 430 miles per tank. I drive a 40/60 (city/hwy) mix and do not always granny the car either. It all works out to between 23.5 to 24.5 mpg or so.

If you care about how many miles per gallon your gettin then you got the wrong car. Drive it hard who care about how much gas your paying

 

Gas mileage is not a big part of every car. The mileage is displayed on the sticker just to take up space. I don't know anyone that really cares what it says. Maybe someone looking for a good gas saving commuter car, but I think those kinds of people would actually buy an electric car. How many people here bought the car because of what the display sticker said about mileage? How many people buy a H2 for mileage? If a H2 customer really cared what the mileage was on that thing, I don't think they would of bought it.

Back to this thread, yes it was a good thread to compare mileages. Just goes to show how different peoples driving styles are. Low mileage = heavy foot. High mileage = slow driver. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

I am barely getting 205 miles to a full tank topped off of gas!!!!!!!

I am 19 (Lucky as ****) I payed for car, my dad pays the inssurance, and gas!

If you drive like i do, this ride is like a rollercoaster that you have full control over!!!

i am getting between 10-15mpg on average because of the way i drive, but i just got back from a roadtrip where i got 28 mpg on pure 90mph highway driving from miami to virginia!

Used to get around 250-280 on a tank of gas~ until last week. Drove to NYC and back with mild traffic, I got over 420mi before the light came on. (at which point I think I still have 3 gallons left) I think if I just cruised at 70mph over flat roads, I can get 500mi out of the tank.
